Confirmation is the sacrament in which the Holy Spirit comes to strengthen and complete the grace first given at Baptism. Through the anointing with sacred chrism and the laying on of hands, we are sealed with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and fully initiated into the life and mission of the Church. Confirmation deepens our relationship with Christ, empowers us to live our faith with confidence, and prepares us to serve as mature disciples.
