Finance Council

The Finance Council serves as a key advisory body to the Pastor regarding all financial matters of the parish and school. Its responsibilities include reviewing and monitoring income, expenses, financial reports, and long-term planning needs. The council helps ensure good stewardship of parish resources, oversees financial policies and procedures, and collaborates with the Pastor to prepare, evaluate, and approve the annual operational and capital budgets.

Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) assists the Pastor in shaping the overall direction of the parish’s spiritual and liturgical life. The council listens to the needs of parishioners, evaluates existing ministries, and helps plan new initiatives that support faith formation, worship, community outreach, and parish vitality. By providing prayerful reflection, guidance, and collaboration, the PPC works to strengthen the mission of St. John Cantius Parish and foster a vibrant, welcoming parish community.

Activities Committee

The Activities Council helps coordinate, develop, and support parish events and programs that promote fellowship, community involvement, and parish unity. This council assists with planning social gatherings, fundraising events, seasonal celebrations, and family-focused activities. Working closely with other parish ministries, it encourages parishioner participation and helps create opportunities for members of the community to connect, serve, and grow together.
